2 self-catering holiday cottages in the heart of Hadrian's Wall country
Old Brewery Cottage and Coach house were built around 1800 , both are grade 2 listed. The cottage was a dairy and barn , both offer tastefully decorated and fully furnished accommodation adjacent to the owners home. Being in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country ideal for exploring all the main sites. Haltwhistle is 2.5 miles away where you can find lots of shops and a small supermarket, there are pubs and restaurants if you want a night out. We are 12 miles from the pretty market town of Hexham and Carlisle is 25 miles away. Kielder water and the national park are also great places to walk , cycle and explore.We are happy to have your pet stay at no extra charge. There is off road parking available and catering if required.
We are happy to accept guests pets free of charge, please check first if you are wanting to bring more than 1. We ask that they are not left untended, please.
The Cottage
Old Brewery Cottage has 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 guests , 1 being on the ground floor and having a shower room this one has its own sitting room upstairs. The other 2 on the first floor share a bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen/dinner with washer, dishwasher, fridge , freezer and cooker and everything you need to cook your own meals. the lounge has comfortable seating and tv etc.
The Coach House
The Coach House has 1 double bedroom providing comfortable accommodation for 2 guests, the bathroom has a small roll-top bath. This also has a fully equipped kitchen area, fridge, freezer, washer, and cooker. The conservatory has a dining table and comfortable sofa so you can watch the stars at night.
The Garden
Guests are welcome to explore the main garden but should be aware there is a large pond in the garden so children must be supervised at all times. You are welcome to use the summer house as well. there are several sitting areas around the garden and the chickens are in a pen at the top of the garden.conservatory has a dining table and comfortable sofa so you can watch the stars at night.
